Welcome to Simply Radiant Sweets! I'm Sonia Renee, the founder and creative force behind every cake, cupcake, and cookie that leaves our Columbus-based home bakery. My journey into the world of baking wasn't just a career choice; it was a calling—during my youth, I always loved watching simple ingredients become delicious, beautiful works of art. This is a passion that I began to nurture after life events pivoted me into my future endeavors.
I lost one of my brothers in 2019, and after reflecting on how short life can seem, I knew that I needed to do the thing that makes me happy and brings joy to others. I found part of that direction in cooking and baking. I want my baking to help employ others, build communities, and to teach children and adults the science, mathematics, patience, and art of creating pastries.
